LIFE AS A PARTY
ABOUT THE SERIES
A timeline of Peruvian history in the decade of my birth told with bills that increase from Ten Intis to Five Million Intis.
A metaphor of the chaos that was growing exponentially in our country in those years.
A childhood surrounded by these bills that are still sometimes found in piles, hidden in closets of grandparents who are no longer there, kept with the hope for a future that never came.
A bill that one week was served to feed a family and the next was exchanged for candy at the school kiosk.
A lesson in the value of things.
